Accessibility Statement

Smart RV Hub works toward WCAG version 2.2 at conformance level AA, which builds on the WCAG 2.1 AA standard US regulators reference. The aim is a site you can use with a screen reader, a keyboard, or a magnifier.

The standard we work to

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines version 2.2 at conformance level AA. That standard builds on WCAG 2.1 AA, the version the US Department of Justice adopted for state and local government websites in 2024.

Accessibility is treated here as ongoing work rather than a finished job. The site changes every week.

What is in place today

  • A skip link at the top of every page that jumps straight to the main content.
  • One main heading per page and headings that follow a logical order.
  • Text alternatives on images that carry meaning, and hidden decorative images from screen readers.
  • Touch targets of at least 44 pixels on links, buttons, and form controls.
  • Visible focus outlines so keyboard users can always see where they are.
  • Labels on every form field rather than placeholder text alone.
  • Pop up dialogs that can be closed with the Escape key and with a clearly worded button.

How we check

Every page is scanned automatically against the accessibility failures that appear most often in website lawsuits.

Those checks cover missing image descriptions, unlabeled form fields, vague link text, empty buttons, broken heading order, and keyboard traps.

Automated scanning cannot catch everything. That is why reports from real visitors matter to us and are acted on.

Known limitations

Some pages embed services run by other companies, including maps, video players, and email sign up tools.

We are responsible for how those parts behave on our pages, so we review them and raise problems with the supplier.

Where a supplied component cannot yet be made accessible, we offer the same information in plain text on the page.

Tell us about a barrier

If any part of this site is hard to use, please tell us and we will fix it.

Use our contact form and include the page address along with a short description of the problem.

Describing what you were trying to do, and what happened instead, helps us reproduce the barrier quickly.

We aim to reply within five business days and to record what was changed as a result.
